At the Park is a performance that blends physical theatre and shadow play to tell the story of a girl and a boy who are born, discover their bodies, meet, and play together in the park. There’s a shady corner there — but for some reason, it’s off-limits. Why? As they play and invent stories, the girl and the boy find the courage to take a leap into the darkness. But then… what is darkness, really? Maybe it’s just a funny old fellow with interesting things to tell us. The project was developed as part of AMEY 2023 (Artists Meet Ear-ly Years) at the Visioni Festival — an invitation to international artists to conduct research within early childhood services in Bologna and the surrounding area.
