In the courtyard of a Kasséna house, a young woman mixes clay and water: she draws, exploring the path of ancient traces.
By making these ancestral gestures her own again, she adds her steps to the scribbles of the toddlers playing on the ground. By her side, a woman accompanies her with her voice, to the sweet sound of the N'goni.
Together, they sketch the patterns that will later brighten up the walls of their homes, and that will bring them closer to the roots of humanity.
Tiébélé provides the backdrop for these beautiful patterns, left on the houses by the women of this village in Burkina Faso. This show combines plastic and poetry. Earth and songs. Organic matter and sensitive material. A creation that links the ancestral gestures of these African women to the first traces left by toddlers. durata: 40’ Una coproduzione Mapping
