At the beginning, we encounter our shadow and it feels like we are all on our own: the shadows takes us by surprise, we explore it and familiarise with it. IT IS MY SHADOW, a reassuring presence, a true, sometimes obsessive friend. It never leaves us. But when we need it most, there it is: fascinated by its essence, we play with it in a very intimate, personal way.
Then we find out that the others have a shadow-friend as well, and we can play together and have fun. We can also play with the surrounding objects… And through the black shapes the light projects onto the walls we can create worlds that amaze us and echo our history and infinite space.
Light and shadow regulate our lives as human beings: when our part of the Earth enters the shadow, we rest; then, in the morning, the sunlight guides our steps. This is where our history is written.
