Complete card

The fascinating and kaleidoscopic piano sheets by Debussy dress Pepita's dreams in sounds. Little Pepita wants to be a dancer, but without those ballet shoes that trap her feet. She wants to become a "cosmic" dancer, to swing upside down from a star and to rise up in flight lifted by clouds.
To realize her dream, she will be helped by the natural elements, such as rain, sun, fire and waves.
The play is adapted from the book of the same name by Linda Ferri.
The play is based on the picture book “The cosmic dancer” by Linda Ferri: a poetic tale that, combining images and words, guides the reader on a journey through a magic world where nature helps the protagonist make her dream come true. But this is not as easy as she thought: star are far away and the clouds slip through her fingers...
Debussy’s music is powerful and evocative; through its notes, it conveys images and sounds of nature.
