Testoni Ragazzi, Teatro Stabile d'innovazione per ragazzi e giovani, is almost exclusively dedicated to the culture of children and young people and it represents a reference point nationally and internationally in the field. Built on the long experience of the theatre company La Baracca, which manages it in agreement with the City Council, Testoni Ragazzi is today a sort of crossroad where arts and doctrines, from theatre to visual arts, from workshops to exhibitions, to finish off with music and multi-media activities, met. The Centre is provided with three halls: one with 500 seats, one with 100 seats and the last one equipped for workshops. Besides there are other spaces mainly used for exhibitions and art installations.
The theatrical offer represents the basis of Teatro Testoni's activity: about two hundred shows are offered every season to schools over week-days and to families over the week-end. In addition to La Baracca productions, shows from Italian and foreign guest companies are performed in the theatre. Testoni Ragazzi is also the seat of an intense workshop and research activity. Theatrical workshops are aimed to children, teen-agers, young people and adults, teachers and educationists.
